Autocad Xref Scale
Anybody run into anything like this?
I have a finished grading plan with spot elevation blocks inserted at the curb lines (TC/BC). It is a simple 'X' with two text variables for the top/btm elevations. In the final drawing to be plotted, (a plan & profile) the 'X's are showing up, but not the text for the elevations. These were all set up by another drafter before my time here. They show up in other drawings but not this particular one, with two tabs, one for each length of profile to be shown.
I've tried bringing all those spot elev blocks to the front in the xref'd dwg, redefining the blocks, checked all layers to be on/thawed in all model/vp/new vp's, etc. (Again, this LDD2004).

It simply has too many places where it can (and usually does) break down. The 'newer' BEdit seems to be more robust, but then it only works on blocks - not xrefs. What did he do and how can I undo this? Dec 08, 2019 Block or Xref what should we use? Blocks and Xrefs they look so similar if a person is new to AutoCAD. However there are a lot of experienced users who are so used to blocks that they don’t even try to learn what an Xref is. The main difference between Block and Xref is that Block is part of the drawing while Xref is an entire new drawing.
